It's sh-AMITABH!!!
First and the most important thing that makes shamitabh a must watch is its new storyline. Second great thing about shamitabh is the performances of Dhanush and Amitabh. R balki has also done a great job as a writer and a director.
Dhanush just nailed it again and manages to get noticed even when he shares screen with Indian cinematic legend Amitabh Bachan. Amitabh Bachan was great as always. Akshara did a decent yet powerful debut.
Shamitabh also has some drawbacks. As its 2nd half was bit slow and may boor you. The songs in the movie are just useless. And the length of the movie is too long.
I'll give this movie 7/10. You may not like this movie but its definetly a must watch owning to the fresh new story and the brilliant performance by the protagonists.
